=) thanks

there used to be a big wheel here, and I think it was used to run cables under the ground, but I'm not an expert about how a mining site works, unfortunately ^^"

Ahhh I see, I didn't realise this was mining related. Judging by the angle of the ironwork I'd say it was for lifting and hoisting stuff into and out of the mine. This is a totally different style to the English equipment though.

No problem =)

The cables were connected to this [link] however (there is two huge wheels up here) if this can give you a better view of the installation

Woah, yeah thats some headgear right there! damn...!

Judging by the set up of the side looks like a coal mine? Bloody impressive site. Bigger than most we have over here.

That's a place I'd love to go.

Yeah, this was a coal mine. A large part has been destroyed, but there still is a lot to see. If you go to belgium one day, you have to stop by ^^

Not so much now, there are monitored trips organized there, but you have to still pass a radiation test after that, and throw aways your clothes if they have been irradiated...

You have obviously researched this quite a lot then? I mean if Ukraine wasn't so far away i reckon id go... think you will ever go?

Well, I think it is possible. But I'll need money for that, I have the project of doing some URBEX in Romania, maybe Poland too, so Ukrainia isn't so far when you're there. So, who knows? =)

Woaw, magnifique. Je savais pas qu'on pouvait faire une belle photo en fisheye. Mais le sujet aide beaucoup. Et le HDR se voit pas à peine. Beau travail...

Merci =)
